Some members of the UN thinks it’s a panel of 16 people over in Switzerland. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-Ca.) is urging Mr. Barack Obama to ratify this UN Treaty signed originally by Bill Clinton, but never acted upon.

Are you ready to give up your rights to raise your children as you see fit? The UN along with Sen. Barbara Boxer believes it is time that the nation controls what your children are taught, this includes *but is not limited to*

Parents not permitted to choose the religion for their children,
Parents not permitted to discipline children *this includes Time Out Chairs*
Parents have no say in the education of the child *aka.. No more home schooling*

This proposal interferes with parental rights. We would no longer be raising our kids we would be breeding for the government, or the ‘law of the land’.
Barbara Boxer believes that it is a Gross Humiliation that the government in the US has not yet joined this movement.

How could this possibly help the PEOPLE if the government or a panel of 16-18 people in another country, make all the decisions of how to raise, educate or discipline our children?
Having read this treaty, there are many portions of it that sound like a good idea, but you must read between the lines! It is a good thing that they want to protect the children from various childhood issues such as bullying, Child Abuse or neglect, Child endangerment and discrimination in schools, homes or public places.

Between the lines it says that parents are not fit to discipline their children using ‘mentally strenuous methods’ such as a time out. Parents will no longer be permitted to spank their children, and if a parent does so, this treaty gives the children the rights to put their parents in jail, hire an attorney or even take it to the Congress.

This treaty wishes to give our children unlimited access to National and International resources. Does that sound like a SAFE thing to do? How many psycho’s child molesters, rapists and murderers access children’s personal information on a daily basis because they are on the internet? My children are not permitted to be on the internet with out one of us sitting with them watching the children’s games they play. I am not willing to give up my rights as a parent to watch them play Ben 10 Alien force on line, just to make sure they do not mis-select something and end up in a public chat room or a porn site.

This treaty mentions in many of the articles that we must encourage international cooperation, in our children. With out going in to further detail as to what sort of cooperation.

This is not a treaty to be discussed in our Government. This is a treaty that ONLY PARENTS should be permitted to vote on. NOT our Senate or house! And definitely NOT people who do not have children.

Parents should be free to make the decisions on what is best for our children, not a panel of people in Switzerland! NOR the Government of the United States of America!
If you are not a parent, you should not get a choice on this, and if you are in the Government, children or not, you should not make this decision. As a member of government is too easily swayed by financial gain, and corruption.

The men and women in Washington DC apparently could not make ends meet with a yet to be spend $787 Billion Dollar Spending bill. They are now pushing an additional $410 Billion; This is money we as a nation do not have! This new spending bill has 8,000 earmarks valuing over $10 Billion dollars. This can NOT pass, we are already too far in debt that our children’s children will be paying for it! Want to take it to yet another generation?

We can not borrow it from the Chinese and we can not print more with out devaluing the dollar further than they already have. Many American’s do not know that when these people pass these billion dollars in spending what they are actually doing is PRINTING more money. Printing the money sounds like a good idea, but if you learned anything in Civics class it was that the more money that is printed, the lower the value of our Dollar. It will be worthless. I believe this is yet another attempt by the Democrats to dig us so far into a hole the only hope we will have of surviving is complete reliance on our government for our families support.

For those of you who think Socialism is just a word people use to scare others. Here’s the Dictionary definition.

We as a nation must rise above all of this! The government does not control us, WE Control them! This can not continue or the nation will be completely bankrupt and the only way out will be socialism, communism or the rise of Mex-ameri-canada.

I am not pushing the Bubba Effect, but it looks as though that this may be the only way to stop the rise of the government. I say we start formal legal action to IMPEACH THE PRESIDENT AND HIS CABINET. We need to get rid of ALL of the Republicans and Democrats. Disintegrate the Parties. Partisanship only leads to the division of the nation, and the increased opportunity for Political Corruption. We can never be united as long as we are fighting, Republican vs. Democrat!

So this is how they plan on making our country better? By making it so that those who protest have no say in matters of our financial security, Homeland Security, and the WAR ON TERRORISM.

When the results of the election were obvious, I remarked to my 14 year-old son that he was witnessing history. Yes, the first black man had been elected President of the United States, but I had gotten past the color of his skin sometime prior. The history we were witnessing was that a large portion of the American people had figured out how to vote themselves largess at the expense of their fellow countrymen.

During the campaign, Obama was not devious about his plans for our country. For those who were not mesmerized by his rhetoric and Messianic complex, for those who actually listened to his words; he was very straight-forward in regards to his values and core beliefs. Social and economic justice, the greater and collective good were still heard ringing through the halls of academia from professors who still wistfully remember Woodstock as if it was yesterday. For those of us who truly heard, we saw the Constitution in flames, and the great American Experiment, the Representative Republic, dying a slow death.

Leaving the Constitutional Convention, Benjamin Franklin was asked what type of government they had given us. He responded, “A Republic, if you can keep it.” Well, people, we are not keeping it and have almost lost sight of it.

Obama won with 53% of the vote, but I don’t believe all of that 53% were people looking for largess. But even if it is half, that amount of Americans is truly sad. Too many believe they don’t have because others do. Too many believe they are victims of something or someone, and are entitled to what others have.

Those special traits which make Americans unique; self-reliance, individualism, idealism, a spirit of daring and adventure, personal responsibility, and pulling oneself up by our bootstraps are fading. We now have Americans looking to the government not just to help pull yourself up by your bootstraps, but to put those boots on your feet for you.

We now have a father in the White House; one who will give if only you ask.

You took out a mortgage you couldn’t afford and you didn’t read any of that pesky paperwork. Especially those parts about your adjustable rate. That’s OK; according to Barney Frank and Chris Dodd, you were entitled to that house. And now that you aren’t paying the mortgage, we know it’s because you are a victim of those greedy lenders. So, Obama is riding in to help you.
Never mind the government does not have any of its own money. The government does not contribute to our economy. It neither produces a good or a service. So where does this money come from? From those who worked hard and saved a down payment, and bought a home within their means. And even if the value of their home is below what they owe, they are still paying their mortgage. In other words, Obama will take from the responsible people, those who had achieved what used to be called the American dream, to give to those who were “entitled” to a house they could not afford and are now victims of some greedy mortgage company. In another America, we would call these people irresponsible and the transfer of wealth would be considered theft.

As home values soared, others used their equity to purchase numerous new toys. And the credit card bills were a bit much, so more equity went to help pay them. A little overextended, are we? Never fear--Obama’s here!

Working part-time 4 years at McDonalds and still no benefits? Why, just go to our father’s town hall meeting and ask. With a wave and a smile, all will be well. And that extra $13 per week in tax relief will buy you a couple lunches at McDonalds.

My God, what have we become?

We punish the responsible, the achievers and reward the irresponsible bad behavior, the failures? There was a time when failure was OK--you learned from it. If failure is rewarded, the bad decisions and bad judgment will continue. How many times must you touch that hot stove before you figure out it burns? Never, as long as our father tells you those blisters come from somewhere else. It’s someone else’s fault. Not yours. He’ll apply some salve and make them all better. And remember, it’s someone else’s salve, because you’re entitled to it.

The American people are heading for a heart break. They voted to put a man into the highest office in the land based on empty campaign promises and blatant lies. The Campaign for ‘Change’ struck a cord with voters who were tired of the Bush administrations many let downs. So far the only change I see in Washington is they are not hiding their corruption.
The Bush administration had a lot of faults. The American people looked at them as corrupt sell outs. They were only out for themselves and their own pocket books. Rumored to own stock in the oil companies that were exceedingly gouging the American people on a daily basis, raising gas prices to the point where normal people were having trouble putting gas in their cars and paying their bills. It became normal to include in conversation, you worked just to put gas in your car so you could continue to work for gas money.

Since the election of the New Idiocracy, the American people have been quick to believe what they are told and not argue the point. (mostly out of fear of being called racist) Even when it is more than clear that the new administration is leading us down the road to Socialism. The American people simply sit back and allow the government to do what they are doing and have the attitude ‘They’re going to do what they want, there’s nothing we can do about it,’ What they have done is abandoned the principles that formed this great nation.

Everyone wants to acknowledge freedoms when it’s ‘convenient’ for them, but people do not utilize the rights guaranteed to us by the Constitution, unless in some way it ‘pays off’ for them.
I have repeatedly heard and stated a quote that I think really does apply to this new Administration. ‘Absolute Power, Corrupts Absolutely!’ The American people have given the far left wing liberals absolute power by electing their puppet into the White House and all of their lower level puppets into the House and Senate.

‘There can be no peace without balance.’ A dear friend of mine said this to me during a transitional period in my life and I never forgot it! Not only did it apply to a very trying time in my life, but I believe that it applies to our Government as well, the scales tipped in favor of the Democrats this term and the balance of power is off. Which is causing the state of the Country turmoil. Pitting American against American, Citizens against Government. We can not achieve balance as long as one party over the other holds a majority in our government. I emphasize our, because all of the senators and house representatives seem to forget that we as voters hold all the cards to either their re-election or their ultimate dismissal from our government. They are employed by the U.S. Tax payers, not the president or his cabinet. They all work for us, not vice versa. We should remember that.

We also need to remember that we have the power and the right to impeach any government official for doing what we deem harmful to our nation, breaking even the slightest law is call for impeachment. People did not remember this aspect of the rules when George Bush was in office, instead they insisted on complaining about it with out taking action! They wait until he is out of office to start spouting that he deserves to go to jail for war crimes. If this is true, then Bill Clinton should be imprisoned for Treason. He sold valuable Military Secrets of ours to China. Should any of our military personnel do that, they would be put in Military Prison for the rest of their natural lives.

Truth about the Stimulus Bill.

What many American’s know as the Stimulus Bill, is actually a Massive Spending bill, with a lot of ‘extras’ penciled in. This Spending Bill is promised to create thousands of jobs to the millions of unemployed people in America. Many people believe that it is the start to rebuilding the nations wealth, in actuality it is a step closer to Socialism. Many of the ‘ear marks’ in the bill that were seldom discussed with the pubic and in many cases not even debated in the Senate or the House, give the government the power over us to make medical decisions at our bedside at the time of treatment. They will have you believe that this ‘ear mark’ is only to have medical practitioners transfer medical files to an electronic data base. When the wording of the bill actually states (and this is layman’s terms) that Doctors are required to check with the government appointed Medical decision maker, to decide if a treatment is ‘affordable and acceptable’ and if they deem it unnecessary it will be denied.

This is what is known as Government Mandated Medical care, this is the same system they use in the UK; and people die waiting for responses from their government.
This is one ear mark on the Spending bill that many people did not know about. I call it an ear mark, because that is exactly what it is, an amendment to the bill that was added at the last minute with out the knowledge of the Senate or House members. This amendment was added the night before the Senates first vote on the bill.
Senators and House Representatives will say and have said, they took the time to read this bill thoroughly before voting, this is not true. Due to Nancy Pelosi’s planned trip to the Vatican to receive an award from the Pope that we all know she does not deserve, they were given Twenty-four hours or less to read the nearly Eleven hundred page bill. This is not only impossible, but unconscionable.

Items in this bill, that is guaranteed not to stimulate any economy is the funding to more government programs, government cars, government housing and so on. By the tax payers of the future paying twenty times what an automobile is actually worth for the government officials to get around is unacceptable! In Washington, we the tax payers pay in excess of $13,000 for a waste basket for a private office. I wonder how many regular Americans have a $13,000 trash can.

Speaking to some of the everyday, average American’s over the last few weeks, I have learned that some of them focus on one part of this Spending Bill that they agree with, take the addition of $500 to the Pell Grant. This is a great thing, don’t get me wrong, but how will an additional $500 to a college student help stimulate the economy for the rest of the millions of Americans not in school? Simple answer, it will not! There is money in the bill to pay for new roads and air strips, this is good to create temporary jobs, that is true, but what happens when those jobs are finished, or what will happen to the unemployed workers who do not get the call to go back to work because the jobs are so few and far between that the contractors selected to do these jobs have enough employees to cover the work?

The government has stated that ‘old policies are failed policies,’ maybe during the Bush administration, but they are intentionally ignoring the policies of a presidency that actually worked, provided more jobs and healed a damaged economy. Obama is the Anti-Regan. Everything that Ronald Regan did that worked, Obama is allowing Nancy Pelosi to do the opposite, what does this tell us? It tells us that one person did it the right way, and both ways will not work. We have seen how Regan’s policies worked, we were uplifted to a greater era of wealth and happiness. We know that it worked! So tell me how doing the exact opposite and putting a 2 Trillion dollar deficit in the hands of our children will help pull us out of this crisis?
We can not allow our desire for a successful presidency from a History making man, cloud the judgment of right and wrong. We all want to see the president do well, but at what cost? At the cost of our freedoms? The freedom of speech is in grave peril as our internet searches are recorded and emails unlawfully searched, our right to privacy is going to be a thing of the past when the government is in charge of our medical treatment.

Do you belong to a Union? Well, I hope you know that since that Spending bill passed, you no longer will have the right to a secret ballot in your work place! That was in there too. The ’Card Check’ rule. Which gives you no more rights to vote in private, everyone will know who or what you are voting for or against.
There are many trustworthy news networks left out there, who are willing to speak out against the Spending Bill, and who are not afraid to address these issues. We all know there are news networks out there owned by the same company, who’s CEO is now sitting on Obama’s Economic Advisory Board. The CEO of General Electric, Jeffery Immelt is on the Advisory board.

The list goes on. This leaves open another argument for corruption, most of these networks backed the Obama campaign. Now their CEO sits on his Economic Advisory Board? The new Administration is swayed by money, big business and causing the American people to rely on the government completely and totally for their support, health care and jobs. Giving the government control over your lives, you habits, your children and your money!

Recently California banned smoking, in peoples private homes! That was just another step towards government control, another step in the wrong direction. We the people have given the government too much control over our lives! When they can interfere in your life inside your own home, not to mention cars. It’s illegal in California to smoke in your cars or in public. There for, no smoking in the state! This state is also the highest polluting state in the entire country, yet they are the ones who fight for our environment. They do not live by their convictions. They want to tell everyone what to do, and do what they want.

Take former Vice President Al Gore. He rally’s for the environment, stars in Documentaries and videos telling all of us that we should do this or that, telling our children that they do not need to listen to their parents because they know better than we do. Yet this is a man who owns multiple homes, multiple gas guzzling cars and charters private jets as opposed to flying coach with the rest of the travelers. He preaches that people need to be vegetarians, yet he refuses to stop eating meat. He is repeatedly contradicting his words by his actions. So why then should people listen to a hypocritical man such as himself?

I pose this question about our government as well, they are hypocritical as well. They preached against corruption and big government spending during the campaigns, yet they passed the largest spending bill in history and plan to use most of that money on the government itself.

What do they plan to do about illegal aliens?

Nothing, simple as that. The current and yes the former as well, refuse to acknowledge the problems with illegal aliens.
Illegal aliens cross our borders by the thousands regularly, we are being over run by them. They are taking over our jobs, leaving natural born or legal citizens looking for work and not finding any. Not a single administration has made any form of effort to stop this either. Instead the Bush administration allowed them the rights granted to United States Citizens and allowed them to protest against deportation. They are not legal citizens, there for should not be allowed the same rights as those who waited for years to come here legally. Or those who were born here. They should be treated with human respect, but they should not be rewarded for coming here illegally and should be deported. This non-sense of allowing illegal trespassers to sue an American for turning them in, is outrageous and ridiculous. It is our legal system, not theirs, it is our country, not theirs. Why should we pay them to come here illegally? Why should the American tax payer pay for their support when they will not work, or their hospital bills that they can not pay. Why should we welcome the drug cartel into our country to kidnap and murder whomever they chose, just for the government to deny it is occurring. We have enough crime in our country with out their help!

When asked about the problems at our borders during the campaign, not a single Democrat or Republican nominee would answer. The now current administration refuse to acknowledge a problem as well. Deportation is an option, but it will not work if our borders are not secured! We need to fix the borders, make our nation safe again from the drug cartel and violent Mexican illegal aliens. Protect our Citizens, children and legal immigrants.
